The governors of Russias Rostov and Tambov regions announced their resignations on Monday, kicking off what political experts describe as gubernatorpad, or President Vladimir Putins yearly shakeup of local heads.Today, the nations leadership is setting other jobs for me at the federal level that will need to be performed, Tambov area Governor Maksim Egorov stated in a video message posted on Telegram.Putin selected Egorov as acting governor of the central Tambov region in October 2021, and the following year he was elected to office.
